#2016 @On the way from Zurich to Mumbai

The frequency of flights has increased to an extent that you can see another flight right behind you as your flight takes a turn from the run way. First picture represents the same! Hats off to the air traffic control teams! Fields can be seen from up above and also the high ways or train routes. In the last picture we can see the road amidst the dry land. Also in the last picture a lake-kind can be seen, not sure though! 

Kashid beach and the sunset - PramsPhotography #101

Kashid is a white sand beach located on the western coast of India. Walking on the sand bare foot at Kashid beach is a must-to-have experience, for every couple especially. On one side the beach has a rocky avatar. One can step onto the rocks and reach the end of the rocky portion. We especially enjoyed doing this as we walked past the rocks to capture the sunset moments. The scenery show in the last picture above is a special attraction for the tourists.  

Beaches on the western coast line of India are too different from that of the eastern coast line. The sand from beneath foot feels as if its drifting fast towards the sea as we stand in water in any of the Bay of Bengal beaches, especially in Andhra Pradesh coast line. On the contrary, be it Alibaug, Nagaon or Murud beach, the sand is smooth and tight under the foot. Well, no beach is less beautiful though! 

The magical Kolaba fort - PramsPhotography #100

One can reach the fort by walking across the sea! The otherwise sea gets behind the fort in the morning to let the tourists walk across. That's the most magical way of inviting the tourists, probably! The sand in the beach is so smooth that walking without slippers appears no more an option but the helplessness. 

When the water level is a bit high, one can have a horse ride to reach the fort. One horse is tied with a six seat trailer. At times the water level could be up-to the neck of the horse and that particular ride could prove to be the most fearsome!

When we started from the shore to the fort this was the water level. We spent 45 minutes inside the fort and came out to start back. That's when we noticed that many people were actually walking across the path and reaching the fort. The water level that we saw earlier could no more be seen. Instead, the water receded to an unbelievable extent. The second image from top gives this perspective better. Inside the fort, we saw the Firangi directed towards the sea; probably to counter the attack from the sea side!

Berlin and its transport - PramsPhotography #99

These are some of the clicks from my official trip to Berlin city, Germany. It's a great place to roam around. The city has amazing connectivity and travel facilities. While on the trip, I traveled by every form of transport service available. Be it trams, metro trains, under ground trains, buses or cabs! A very memorable and cherishing experience it had been. The monuments which had their name associated with the second world war were the special attraction.

Train journey never excited as much as it does now. Not that I'm used to it but the fact that I can sit next to a window and can continue to click picture excites me. No one really asks and how does it matter even if anyone ask! There is absolute pleasure and productivity I feel underlying in doing this. Also, this motivates me not to travel in AC compartment but in sleeper class. Looking forward for a few more productive train travels! 

Farming on the mountain side - PramsPhotography #97

The Velliyangiri foothills near Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, are one of the beautiful mountains I've been on a trip to. When in rainy season the clouds come over them, their beauty increases exponentially. They can enthrall us with their mesmerizing beauty. Farming near a mountain is never easy as one must be aware of the environmental conditions that can swiftly change in a blink. Kuddos to these farmers for taking up one of the most difficult jobs. Understanding the nature is not everyone's cup of tea! 

On the way to Bhimshankar - PramsPhotography #96

'Cow dung cakes' is the name they have for the ones shown in the above picture (Pidakalu - in Telugu, my mother tongue). They are made with hands using the cow dung. They are usually thrown against a wall in southern India to get them dried. Here near Bhimshankar, we saw them being placed on a cemented block. Found this very different! 

The long lean road while on the way to Bhimshankar looks so welcoming without any traffic mainly due to the nonseasonal visit we had been onto. 

On the way to Bhimshankar from Shirdi, found this different landscape and clicked from car. It was in the month of April that we had been on this trip and it was a lonely way for a long distance.

The aerial prop routs of the Banyan tree were cut to let the vehicles pass from under them. Good idea not to cut them totally but to let them exist!

Only flowers - PramsPhotography #95

In the first look I did not notice that this tree did not have any leafs but the pink flowers all over. Stunned to see something like this amidst the dried out surroundings as can also be seen in the picture. Life blossoms from within and it does not need decoration. It anyway blossoms provided we have the deep wish to do things in our purview. Sticking back to basics is one of the best piece of advice  in tough times!

The hide and seek click - PramsPhotography #94

Even I wonder why I like to click those hide and seek moments. Every time I click one, the memories from my childhood playing the hide and seek with friends roll into my consciousness at least once. It was on a regular morning at office this picture was clicked. We were done with breakfast and I stood along with my friends on terrace as they were having tea, I saw the sun playing the game. Loved those moments. This reminds me of many friends I miss today in Pune. Moments spent with them will never return but the memories will remain.

Those were the days I stayed alone in a single bed room flat in Pune. I used to enjoy everything to its maximum during then. Of course, nothing has changes as on date though! The first snap above was on an evening after the sunset when all of a sudden the sky became reddish. I was awestruck with the beautiful view surrounding my flat's terrace. The second picture above was clicked on a morning when I noticed the rays from behind the water tank of the apartment next to ours. 

The red fort - PramsPhotography #92

Prime minster hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort, New Delhi, is the first thing I knew about the Red fort. While studying in Delhi, we went on a trip to Red Fort. This picture was clicked at the entrance of the fort. It was not a busy day hence I could manage to get a clear shot without tourists. Well, my visit to the red fort and the architectural marvel present inside the fort filled respect in me towards the architects worked for it's construction.

The twenty four hours I spent in the boat floating on the Allepey back waters are the most memorable moments of my life so far. Serenity was redefined as far as I was concerned in that trip. Amazing views of the coconut trees on the banks, small yet beautiful houses built on the bank with few steps in front of every house to get into the water, a few houseboats hosting thousands of tourists floating next to each other are the views that come across my mind the moment I look at any of the pictures clicked during that memorable ride!

I'd never shown interest in clicking flowers until I purchased the mobile I'm currently using. The Le1S from LeTV. Never experienced the pleasure of clicking close shots at the flowers until I clicked a few with my phone. Some of the pictures are posted above. Ever since I clicked the above pictures, the perception I've about my phone has changed, forever. I wonder how smallest to small experiences can push us to the corner to change the way we look at certain things forever!

#2016 @The enchanted gardens, Pune, India

On the last day of the last year we visited the enchanted gardens at Pune. It was bigger than what we anticipated. In fact, a huge nursery with different types of plantations. Names were written on the tags attached to each plant along with the cost details. Well, out of all my favorite one was the Bonsai plant as posted above (the last one). I've been a fan of the Bonsai plants since many years and after visiting the enchanted gardens, my liking towards them has gone up! But they are very costly hence as of now I'm not planning to get them home!
