There is always a chance for a miracle to happen. But miracles don't always happen. Between these two perspectives lies the crux of decision making in crucial times.
Belief and reality are two different aspects. Belief is not easily formed, but once formed it takes its own time to change. Reality is the rose is a rose is a rose. Both are powerful in their own way, winners in their own league and can work wonders on their own day.
One must neither sit back waiting for the miracle to happen, nor run around fearing the reality.
We have one life but not one chance! We must give our absolute best every time and be ready to learn the next time, if need be. Let the learning coming in by keeping the ball rolling. Rolling the ball doesn't guarantee a goal but afterall, keeping the ball on the roll enables the goal.
Believe that miracles happen.
Beware of their hide and seek.
