Life is such an addicting. How much ever you may live you want more!

Not just what makes but what breaks love is not blind too!

Love is blind. It’s a popular saying. Love is not blind. It’s not a popular argument but that’s what I believe in.

Love sounds nothing for those,

Who does not care having one;

Love sounds everything for those,

Who still await their one;

Love sounds pleasant for those

Who have won their one;

Love is beautiful. It keeps encouraging you for a better you. Love appears even amazing when your loved one conveys you his/her love. Love has mastered the hearts for centuries now. Love has captivated and captured the young dreams for generations. Despite the considerable progress in the research in psychological domain, no one as yet has exactly identified what makes a girl and a boy bond with each other. May be, that’s the same reason why it’s still the popular saying that love is blind.

What makes people love? Sticking to the basics, love starts with liking. Liking starts in the heart. A heart that likes external beauty likes a beautiful lady. A heart that likes internal handsomeness likes a handsome heart. And so on. Liking gets converted into love when you can not lose the person and eventually you would want to live with him/her. In the process of spending good time together, the heart that likes external beauty gets aware of the ugly insider of his partner, if applicable. And even more easily the heart that likes handsome heart anyway gets to know the ugly face, if applicable.

Love can see it. Love sees everything. Then why it doesn’t mind? It does not want to mind.

Love sounds bitter for those,

Who have lost their one;

Love sounds irritating for those,

Who are made lose their one;

Love sounds meaningless for those,

Who never want to have one;

Love is unique. The interpretation is different. The ending might be different. Or in some cases the ending might never come. As long as they do not want to mind they get along. But the very moment they start wanting to mind all those once never-minding issues, they start moving apart. That does not mean that they get separated eventually. In most cases, yes, they get separated, might not be openly but at hearts, yes for sure. What broke their love is what they had once seen! Or it might not be the same every time. They may start seeing newly but one can not rule out the possibility of having had anticipated it at least once amidst the good going days.

However, in some other cases, both just get along with each other quite nicely as they understand each other’s world despite of all good or bad happenings. They respect each others’ too. Some times lack of time acts as tonic too! It does not allow them to breath all those separating thoughts. Or they just don’t want to think about all those! Whatever, they stick to each other. They stay for each other. Carrying it long eventually makes a good pair again as time permits, as they start thinking that what had happened with them could have happened with anyone, and would have happened with their parents too. They mingle up and run beautiful life.

Things change. Perspectives change. Love changes too. At the same time the capabilities of maintaining relationships change too. Such capabilities shall be developed with more concentration and interest. Developing such capabilities always makes life more meaningful not just for themselves but for each other too. Accepting the facts as they are and getting along with the same works wonders in a couple’s life.

The Quaking Tsunamis…!

Never mind if the world ends one day. Million lives end everyday. And anyway, the quakes and the follow up Tsunamis are causing no less drama every now and then. I’ve heard a fisherman saying “We request government to stop giving Tsunami alerts again and again. They may give alerts twice a year but every day we fear to go for our work thinking what devastation might come”. It is damn sure that it’s said out of frustration.

No one can control the nature, earth, seas and so on. Nature kills at one go and that too all in unsaid way. Yesterday’s and today’s earth quake brings to me the all horrifying thoughts of future days to come, future calamities to be faced.

I came to know yesterday through a news channel that a professor in Japan researched upon the past earth quake data. It was said that he found a formula using which we can predict the upcoming one. He was right with his formula once. He could say the exact magnitude of the upcoming quake and the near date too. Hats off to the brilliant brains! Japan is the most and worst hit with all such calamities. No surprise if Japanese professor put all his efforts to find out the way out.

Nature kills but it’s the mother of invention too.

May the mankind get all the strength to face the future!

Comeback soon, Yuvi…

Yuvraj Singh has made it to home but I think he feels his best when he comes back on field. Fighting spirit is what he has been showing ever since the news on his malignant tumor is said out. Not all can achieve the mental stillness in pain, mental pain especially. Yuvi has been stable with his twitter doings and of course his team has done a good job with timely updates. Nice to know that he is done with his chemo cycles and is doing well now. I along with a million fans wait for his return. Not just that he has been a fantastic player for India but also for the fact that a man’s determination must win despite the circumstances. Witnessing such happenings gives inspiration, joy and more importantly the belief on determination.

I wish Yuvi a speedy recovery, in his cricket language a recovery with unbeatable strike rate! At the same time, I wish his family enough strength to make him even stronger.

Taking the ‘time’ factor while comparing…

Any work in this world will finally boil down to ‘time’. No escape from it, which is never bothered, never stopping, and always ticking. In a given amount of time a person can perform a job and another person may perform further better, based on their capabilities, interest, and willingness etc. Comparing such works is no problem. Problem starts when you compare the job that is done in less amount of time with the same job done in more amount of time. Given enough time, if I’m not wrong, most of the jobs can be done with better quality. As time always comes as constraint sometimes quality needs to be compromised. Otherwise, you may have done a great job taking lot of time but the job that is not done in required time is of no much use.

Comparison is not good when it comes to comparing two different people with different capabilities and working for different goals. But comparison is a must when different people though of different capabilities but working for same goal. He who compares need to be aware of the role that ‘time’ factor has played. That’s the same reason why comparison of jobs shall be done with respect to some fixed amount of time.

Competitiveness… Take Home #129

Competence is just not enough. To compete, competitiveness is necessary to have.

Money vs. Qualities…

Two types of assets are typically observed. One, the asset that can not be known unless someone says or shows or we get to know of the same by some means, i.e. monetary asset. Two, the asset that can be known by giving some bare time to someone and observing carefully, i.e. the good qualities of a person.

** The former one is occasionally available in abundance with some people, the later comes naturally to some and some earn it by realizations.

** Money goes hand in hand with the income tax cuttings; where as the good qualities go on inducing themselves around.

** The more money you have the more careful you need to be with people. The more good qualities you have the more carefree you can be.

** As money can give you some enjoying trips round the world, good qualities can make people around the world trip you.

And so on…! All in all, qualities win at the end of the day, life.

Does not matter how much educated a person is, once in a while basics of life need to be revised.

I wish my throat had ears and a small heart too!

Yummy! No?

After eating all kinds of such yummy food that can cause cold, and as the moment of facing the symptoms of sour throat comes, the only thing I feel like doing is to see into the air and promising myself that I would not eat such food anymore for some days. Kind of just save me for one last time types. I wonder why when the memory of past days could get erased the food that we had taken could not be! How blissful it would be if all the unfavorable food that we take could be just ignored as if we ate nothing unpleasant.

While the big bowl-full of food can not stop the next day’s killing hunger why should those Gulaab Jamoons still be the reason for the running nose? How come the chocolate cake still can make it to the loose nose? No answers and only questions in this context as the answer to all questions lead to one finding, that’s the worst habit of being unable to control the wish to eat.

Every time I feel like eating some sweets or chocolates in flu season, my lovely mind comes up with the brilliant recollection of the words of my doctor. He told me that I needed to improve on not avoiding but on eating all such food. I should build the resistance power by making body use to it and still could be able to get through. His words have worked for me as a tonic to go and reach the food I want to eat. Exercising, another suggestion from him, has given me some more freedom to rub my palms and go for cold causing food.

I felt like sharing this here because many might think the way I used to think about avoiding sweets etc. Reach them and do every possible exercise to protect yourselves. Try to have strong mind with thoughts that make you believe that you can fight it out even in any worst case. Avoiding food is never a solution.

Lastly, I have one wish. My dear throat, hang on for this time. I wish it had ears and a small heart too.

Gold that doesn’t glitter and more…!

No matter how much a common boy wants his girl friend to be a glittering ruby round the clock, every common bachelor silently wants his would-be-wife to be the gold that doesn’t glitter. At the same time, no matter how much a common girl wants her boy friend to be rocking round the world round the clock with her, every common spinster silently wants her would-be-husband to be doing his office as early as possible and just stay with her and kids wherever or whatever.

Though its equal years of living, age and time brings different feelings to different gender. Be it about their partner-to-be or be it about the life to come, it appears as if they come from different worlds. Years of living among thousands of other gender seem nothing idea giving when it comes to understanding their very own partner. Well, marriage is always about heartbeats and not just about footsteps. Getting together, staying together and living together forever needs lot of commitment to each other along with love.

I wish loads of such love to all the new born or newly made couples. Many of my friends got married these days. The season appeared as if one after the other wicket of the unmarried has been falling down just like the Indian batting order in ‘get Tendulkar get India’ days. Somehow I got the habit of connecting sports especially cricket to all I say but as long as the relation makes some sense its no wrong! I hope I made some sense above other than the fact that the wickets of Indian cricketers were of unhappiness and that of my friends were of happiness.

Once again I wish all the newly married couple a happy married life.

It need not always be the good happenings that make you happy; but always the mutual support makes home the true heaven.

Can’t help it…

What makes us happy makes us worry too. What makes us worry makes us happy too. The former shows us the hard and later the sweet sides of life.

Just can’t help it! That’s the magical way of life.

Coolest cricket in the hottest summer…

The more I want to stay away from watching any cricket tournament the more I feel attracted by the campaigning. Next to that, as all I need to do is to press three numbers on my TV remote, I feel some what ‘why not’! There starts the journey. As long as the teams I support win I feel refreshed. As long as the tough games go on I feel inspired. But the moment it gets into one sided matches I feel my hand thousand kilograms to press the remote buttons.

The present scenario of this season IPL is no different. The recent loses of team India turned off all the wishes of watching any cricket matches in recent days to come. But Sachin’s hundred has come in right time or for me in wrong time that I’m back to watching IPL, as always.

So, Chennai super kings vs. Mumbai Indians is going on right now. Tendulkar not on full song but is stricken out there with Richard Levi has just done another welcoming damage to the super kings. Somehow I could never support super kings and the main reason I feel is that their captain. He won so many tournaments for India being the captain that I did not want to go for him once again in IPL too. But they won twice. Deccan was of course my favorite team, home team of course, in the first three seasons but the later shuffling of the team members disappointed me. Even this time round I would not be surprised if I couldn’t show any interest in the Chargers.

Then, whom I’m supporting? Mumbai Indians has been my second choice in first three seasons. In the last season and in the on going one it was and will be my first choice. Not just for Sachin but for Bajji, Malinga, Rohit Sharma and Pollard not to forget. I will watch out for their new captain, Bajji Singh, lift the coveted title.

Whatever, I would like to see a new champion this time. Enough of super kings now! And yeah, enough of Sharukh Khan too! Hope he stays little away from players!

Lastly, I will look out for Virat Kohli for his fantastic continuation, Sourav Ganguly for his re-captaincy, Rahul Dravid for his after-career shots, Michael Clark for his first runs in IPL, Malinga for a double hattrick, Viru for another double if possible, Chris Gayle for his manly hundreds, and of course Irphan Pathan for his handsome play. As always I will watch out for good performances from the uncapped players of India.

Hope we see and enjoy some coolest cricket in the hottest summer.

The watermelon effect…

J.J.Thompson’s watermelon atomic model, the theory I read in my schooling and the one which most of you also would have read, almost made me hate watermelon fruit. Not the taste but the way the seeds inside the watermelon were drawn in the text book drawing made me get vomiting sensation almost every time I turned to that page. The seeds referred as the electrons and I never expected that the structure of them would stop me from eating the fruit for near about twelve years. Adding to my irritation the drawing of the watermelon model was one of the assignments my mom, my physics teacher in school, gave me and the drawing sheet knew how much I hated it.

Well, this unexpected summer in the month of March and the recent health set back I had been through have alerted me on taking good amount of watery fruits. I got my never before hobby of eating watermelon. I whole heartedly feel I missed it for many years. I suggest all of you have healthy and watery food this summer and be healthy. By the way, I would like to have seedless watermelon. Please suggest if you have any idea.

One of my good friends said once, strong mind needs strong body. Be fit. Be happy. Have a healthy summer.

Me and my new addiction…

As I look back on what’s been the most happening in my life in the evening times these days apart from the routine, the finding stuns me. It’s neither reading nor writing which I was used to, but the crazy TV serials have captured me with all hands. Somehow I got introduced to them. Now, it’s another big routine to watch them.

I know it’s not a great hobby that I can shout and say to all proudly. But you know what, my relatively positive outlook mind has backed me up with my own reasons in this regard.

In the current scenario of the nuclear families, we hardly find the big heads of the families stay with the rest. Especially in the cities where the couple goes for offices and children go to their schools, it’s next to impossible to find joint families enjoying the flavor of it. Similar to many who miss the joint family treat I too would like to let you know that I love joint families too. As I fail to find them in the neighborhood I think the serials on the joint family story line have attracted me.

At least for an hour or so in a day I feel like a part of a big family. Of course the serial does not give you any work to do in the family business but it gives you the thought process required to get along with the joint families. We watch what is shown but as long as we enjoy it better go with it or rather go for it.

Many, in fact all the serial haters or those who hate serial watchers say with a strong point that serial watching is a big addiction. Yes, it is. But I’m not pretty sure if it is such a bad one to have. May be, the bored husbands, whose number is huge in the town have supported this argument which eventually would have become almost believable if not given a thought.

Whatever, enjoyment in the form of a cricket match, a book, a movie or a serial is no wrong. Everything is fair in love and war! Such a big punch line is not required to support my TV addiction but I’m not ready to accept the argument that it’s a bad habit unless I get convinced.

I usually have very unique reasons for all some of my interests. I watch cricket or sports for the emotions of players. Now, I’ve been watching the TV serials, Hindi ONLY by the way, to learn the Indian national language more. This is just another reason to the one mentioned above. These days my Hindi has been improved is what my friends say about it. In my earlier Hindi speaking days I was commented so funnily that my strong determination set up the target right in front of me. And of course thanks to the Hindi speaking colleagues I have. By the way, I thank them for bearing my language, at times.

Well, this is it on my new addiction. Unless I find a strong reason that convinces me why it’s not a good hobby I’m going to continue doing it, for sure.

The appreciated truth… Take Home #121

Writing a post on truth on an April Fools’ Day seems to me crazy but here I go.

The truth, though not always rewarded, but always appreciated is the truth that is said which has been unsaid yet known to all.

And yes, most of the times such truth is appreciated in silence.

Thank you Partha uncle for suggesting the last line through comments section.
