My Views @ IPL-3 (so far):

If you knew that I’m crazy about cricket, I’m sure you would have already wondered to see my blog having no post on IPL so far, though the season 3 has started long while ago. As I write this, 'Deccan Chargers' is taking on 'Mumbai Indians'. These are the two teams which I supported during the last edition, held in South Africa. To my surprise, to everyone’s surprise, Chargers had their winning moment to play this edition of IPL as the defending champions.

This time I have strictly decided that I would go with Mumbai Indians, not for any other better reason than Sachin Tendulkar (and of course his men). So far so good, I supported both MI as well as my home team DC. But now with this match between both of them, I’m getting realized that it is never very easy to support a team when they take on your home team. Any way, I’m happy that I’m doing it though it is little difficult for my emotions.

My Views @ IPL-3 (so far):

** Sourav Ganguly, the captain of SRK’s KKR, has become confident with his team’s steady successes, instead of being confident and inspiring his team mates since the start of the tourney, which is the very first thing that is expected from any captain.

** Deccan Chargers’ home ground is not Hyderabad any more for this edition; the crowd has already proved Lalit Modi’s decision as wrong by always supporting their team of interests. And now between MI and DC @ Mumbai, it is getting in ugly there.

** Well done Rajasthan Royals; Shane Warne must be the happy man having his team working wonders though their key players are injured and unavailable.

** Super Kings and Dare Devils, I would just say “All the best”, I’m not so interested to say anything more.

** I‘m happy to see the Indians shining well; Yusuf Pathan, Murali Vijay, Sourabh Tiwari, Dinesh Karthik, Harbhajan Singh, Vinay Kumar, Rayudu, Naman Ojha, Manish Pandey and of course the legendry Sachin. I wish India would do well in the T20 world cup’ 2010 at the Carrabian Islands.

** To be frank, I have still not understood the scope of the coach of any team. Teams are playing with almost no break to get trained; and what are the coaches doing more than shifting the luggage?

** Indian T20 squad’s announcement has come at the right time. I think this must be the last chance for my very favorite Rohit Sharma. He has to play well for another chance from now. It is not just about flying with team, rather its all about being with the team makes one successful; I hope he would understand this.

** Lalit Modi has not been seen very rocking this time, he must know the reason!

** Injured Indian players must do a come back before the semifinals, to have a confirmation on their fitness before pack their luggage for the T20 world cup. They must remember that Sehwag’s episode during last T20 world cup has not been forgotten yet. The Indian captain has guts, no doubt; but he has to show this time to avoid another ugly incident of sending another Indian player home saying “he was injured during the IPL itself. He knew it, we knew it, but it was not expressed…”bla…bla…bla…

** And finally, All the best to Mumbai Indians. I wish I see Sachin lifting the coveted trophy this time.

These are the points that I would like to share for now. I will regularly update you with my thoughts about IPL from now onwards. Signing off for now. Please take care of yourselves and keep smiling.

Be a winner at your heart

It all happens when you are 'you'.
Never blame anything else for what happens in your life.

Life is not about many players and one winner;
It is all about many games and many winners.

Be a player, not for people but for yourself.
Be a winner, not at people, but at your heart.

Its 'Twitter' Me...:)

Thanks to Orkut!
I must do this post, I know. Reason being my Orkut scraps, I thank the founder of the very famous social networking site. It’s been ages that I have received so many scraps; nonetheless, it is happened on my B’day! I’m very much wondered to see some of the names in my scrap book; it is still a wonder to me. Some of my very long lost friends had their own words to say on the occasion. Nevertheless, friends are friends; no matter what has made both of them ‘long lost’!

By the way, I have just joined another social networking site, twitter. You can join me here. Thank you.

A Simple Thought...:)

Mistakes can happen anywhere, doesn’t matter who make them, but what definitely matters is the consideration levels of the same. Some are needed to be considered very strictly, where as some are not. My intention behind this post is about the so called mistakes which are not needed to be considered much or by doing which no major damage happens.

How one can conclude whether a mistake is to be considered strictly or not? Simple, it is up to one’s very own commonsense.

Consider a sports team; Captain drives the team, and the team members make the things work. Neither the captain, nor any team member is an exception from making mistakes. As I already said, some mistakes never do any major damage. The interesting point lies here.

Read on…

When a team member commits such a mistake, many fingers will be ready to point it out; but when the captain commits the same mistake, not many fingers can actually have enough guts to point it out. Interestingly, their own ego makes them believe that the reason behind not pointing out the captain’s mistake is the negligible consideration level that the mistake possesses.

Neither the mistake actually possesses the less consideration levels, nor does it possess the highest consideration levels, when it is done by the captain and the team member respectively. The difference lies in the way people manage themselves.

But the profitable thing that we can learn from this is: To make the team work with it’s highest potential, to bring an awesome environment in to the team, and to make the team feels that they have to get a responsible and respectful outcome, the best way is not by building enough guts to point the finger at the captain, but rather, it is by not pointing it out at the team member for such mistakes.

And I stress, this is not only applicable to a sports team, but it is also well applicable to any other team which is formed and committed to accomplish a good will.

Just for you, shown below is one of the positive quotes on doing mistakes;

Team Spirit...

Team spirit is not only about being the one on whom the team can rely on; but at times, it is also about building the team which would not be required to rely on anyone, and hence making the team enough confident to move on!

Encourage, Achieve and Enjoy…!!!

I was convinced, though I was not surprised, this year Oscar awards had created history by giving us a chance to witness a woman becoming the first ever female director to win the Oscar. Coincidentally, the same happened on a women’s day! Any ways, happy women’s day to all the concerned!

Sachin Tendulkar, what shall I say about this man? He is all well-known and loved by many hearts. His recent double century mesmerized me more than exhilarating me. It was unexpected till the last run, keeping his “90’s phobia” in mind. To be frank, I don’t see any thing having guts to stop Indian government from bestowing him “Bharat Ratna” the coming year.

Being very poor at current affairs these days I’m unable to express about any other’s achievement at the moment. Of course, the fact that I need to rush to office has been helping me in completing this post little faster than ever.

Achievement is a part of life, though not the life itself! I congratulate all the people who have achieved their heart out in the recent days. And of course, people consistently try to achieve their dreams, does not matter big or small. It is always pleasure to witness the same and it is even inspiring to encourage such persons. The joy of encouraging someone takes you to the higher sides of happiness.

Encourage, Achieve and Enjoy…!!!

Silly, but I dedicate this post to the hormone in human that causes the burning desire to achieve. Forgive me, if it is not the hormone that causes the desire!!

If you can believe this...!!!

Whatever you do, whatever you are,
Whatever you love, whatever you believe in,
People who love you, and who support you
Will always be there with you in every step of your life.

When you don’t believe this fact,
You will go around satisfying people, and can never live your way
But, when you can believe this,
You will leave the rest, live for them, and can live your way.

My Irregularity @ Blogger world

I did expect that I would write this post one day. Yes, it is about my irregularity at my space as well as at your beautiful blogs. I used to feel proud of myself for the way I could adjust my time for my favorite works. One of such works is writing as you know. But these days, I feel like too much stuff has occupied my mind completely. Be it professional, be it personal, it has got it’s own way to have robbed my mind.

Any ways, being on a positive side, I expect myself to fight back to fulfill my interests.

@ Nothing is worth taking to heart

I want to share loads and loads with you all about my previous to previous post titled as above. I will really have to take my time to come up with. Thanks a lot for your responses on the same.

Stay tuned and thank you.

Prepare Yourself to Face the Worst…

There is a definite difference in the way you feel the taste of a red chilli when you eat it knowingly and unknowingly. The difference is not in the taste of it, but rather it is certainly in the way you feel it. Your mind is well prepared when you eat it knowingly, where as the same is lacked when you eat it unknowingly.

Similarly, when you prepare yourself to face every hurdle of life, you feel better. It does not mean that you have to imagine the worst and be prepared for that, but rather you have to be ready to face any worst, no matter whatever it is. Nevertheless, not any worst is greater than life. Remember it and come out with flying colours.

Saying "Sorry"?

Neither you should say “Sorry”, nor should you expect “Sorry” for every mistake. Some mistakes are life changers, where in they do help us in understanding people, life, things in a better way than ever before. One’s knowledge lies in identifying such incidents, and one’s pleasure lies in learning from the same.

Never say sorry to convince someone; never say sorry to convince yourself; rather be happy to say sorry when you are ready to change yourself towards the mistake done.

PS: I know that both of the above said ones are not related to each other, in some way they even contradict with each other. But please note that they are mutually exclusive if we consider the situation they have to be applied.

Dear friends, please do share your thoughts about this line. Thank You.

Love and Survive!

Let me begin this post with a very big ‘Hai’ to all of my dear readers. It’s been very long that I have updated my space with my thoughts. Not that I didn’t thought of anything meanwhile, but the fact is that I could not make it here. Any ways, I hope all of you are doing well in your own roles and my best wishes to all of you for your respective deeds.

‘Love and Survive’ I can not actually recollect where I did come across this phrase, but one thing is for sure that it’s not been very long that I have heard about it. It appeared logical at first site and the rest is well imaginable.

Love people, live in their hearts and survive yourselves in this beautiful world. Aim big to live forever and ever. A very simple fact of it’s kind, but again, a very tough one to follow.

You can live happily when you love people. You can love people when you believe in them. You can believe people when you forget everything else and just live with them. You can forget everything else only when you forgive people… As I write this, I got realized of the fact that there is no beginning and no ending to this process. Love, belief, happiness etc are our feelings and the rest is just life.

No one can negotiate with the fact that life is more of learnings and full of experiences. Learn to love and experience the difference. Memorize the basics of life and enjoy the success.

Life may not always be what you want, but it is always be what you see. See your best to love and survive.

The Rhythm of Silence!

Communication has played an unbeatable role in the evolution of human civilization. People lived in all the ages have had their own ways to cheer up each other not just for themselves, but also to add value to the means of humanism. For every single person, it is equally important to encourage the other person and to be encouraged. Though not by the law of humanism, but by the law of nature, people have started using the communication for their own purposes.

One may know oneself better, one may understand oneself better, one may cheer oneself better, but it not always taken forward when it comes especially to the encouragement. We always expect to be encouraged, again by the law of nature, we expect everyone to encourage us. It is never too late to know that not everyone would speak for you, though they may speak to you.

As I said, people have started using their communication skills for their own purposes, some to satisfy themselves, some to discourage people, some to enjoy the show, and surprisingly, some speak just like that!

I got realized it very recently, and I just wanted to share with you all.

When you know yourself better,
When you can understand yourself better,
When you can cheer yourself better,
Never depend too much on other’s words.
Not every one would speak for you.
Not every word is meant for you.

Know your capabilities;
Know your limitations;
Be confident,
No matter what you are being said;
No matter what you are being known;
And it does not always really matter,
How you are being treated.

At the end of the day, how you treat yourself would play the whole game of your life.
At the end of your life, how you look at yourself would dominate everything else.

If you know what you did, if you know what you are doing, and if you know what you can do, then better be what you are!

Understand the people, to stay with, and to stay away; what that only matter is how you rhyme your own life; treat everything else as the rhythm of silence; and enjoy the same.

Enjoy your OWN principles…

Where people work on different projects, where people think on different platforms, where people have got different working capabilities, where people have got different goals, then there is nothing wrong and nothing strange in having different principles in their work cultures. Have your own and enjoy the same. Never be worried. Understand the things and move on!

Today's Take Home #9

“To get the right answer, approach the right person”

Being very small and straightforward fact by nature, the above said one squeezes many brains at intermittent intervals. Often it happens that we seek an answer deliberately, be it the personal matters, and be it the professional matters. But quite often we fail to approach the right person, and we try to express ourselves before another person instead. That’s where the true confusion starts it’s journey and finally lands us up in a deep fight.

Better to this is to analyze the situation; hence approach the right person; no matter how much delay it causes.

My Interview…

I want to convey my deepest thanks to Anamika and team for their efforts in reaching my blog, for collecting my views, and for publishing the same at their site. You can find the same here.

Staying Away From Home?

When I was in a NCC camp during my schooling, I was made aware that one of the senior cadets was upset and she had been crying. I along with my friends reached her room, where she was surrounded by a group of people. After being asked for a while, she expressed that she had been staying away from her parents for three months, as she had to stay in hostel.

I was in my 9th standard, and the duration of “Three Months” sounded like a hell for me. I wondered how she could have survived for at least three months!! I could not imagine myself living in the same situation. I must stress, I could not have answered myself, if I had not been to hostel after my 10th class.

Intermediate+B.Tech+M.Tech+1.5 year job, it is totally nine and a half years for me now that I have been away from home. The regular visits to home must be considered though. As the time progressed, the duration between two visits has been regularly increasing, that’s where my concern lies.

During B.Tech, I used to go home for every twenty days at least. Of course, that too was only for a day, or two. But once I joined my M.Tech in Delhi, for the first time, I had to stay away for at least 6 months every time. And now during these days at Pune, it is getting in very longer once again.

It is not only about me, I believe that I can speak for many people who have been staying away from home to satisfy different purposes. Be it the students, be it the soldiers, be it the professionals, be it the scientists, be it the astronauts, and be it any purpose that demands someone to stay away.

Any ways, staying away from home tests your strengths to face the real world, with the personality that your circumstances made you, that your parents taught you, and where your knowledge keeps you. Whatever may be the way you are, never forget to make some time out of your busy schedule to make your parents aware that you love them, that you care for them, and that you breathe for a better you.

I do agree that there are orphans. But when I say parents, it need not always be the mom and dad. Parents are the important persons in one’s life, and everybody in this world must have an important person, be it parents, be it friends, be it someone else who supported them. So, the same affection and love are applicable here.

PS: I’m very sorry that I have been staying away from all of your wonderful blogs. Please excuse me. I have been spending very busy time, and could not bring myself to your lovely worlds. I thank you one and all for reading me faithfully. I will try to do reply your comments soon. And will definitely try to visit you blogs soon. Thank You.

ChAnGe In Times!!!

It was the letter box in our hostel, which used to welcome me to search in for the letter on my name. It was during my intermediate. My mother used to write me and some times my cousin, Yamini. It was the precious moment when I read the written words. I used to read the same letter many a times. In fact, till the time I got another letter, I used to give a glance to the earlier letters every day.

I can not actually explain, but those letters made me experience the joy of being loved, apart from the fact that they did encourage me for the days I had to face. I still have some of those sweet memories with me, not only at my heart but also in my folder.

And today, it is all about SMSs, E-mails, and print outs. The form of expression has been changed, unlike the quality. Same love, same wishes of the same hearts have been conveyed in different ways these days, and of course, every thing is meant for some certain beauty of life.

In all the ways, it is the true symbol of change in times. World is advancing, and we must move along with that.

My Guest post for the "Figments of Imagination"…

Silly Question!!!

A ‘Silly question’ is not actually about the question that is being asked; but it is all about the person who has asked it, and the situation in which he has asked it.

What I mean is…

By nature, some questions appear very silly. But the reputation and the power of the person who asks it can make the question so valid at times. Of course, I’m sure that it is a definite fun to have witnessed such situations.

PS: Please have a look at my previous post titled 'A Small Message..."
