Facing the fact of departing…

People come and go. Memories remain. Everyone we meet we know we have to depart, one day or the other!

Philosophy apart, life is full of gatherings. Friends contribute to major part of it. Be it about roaming together or helping each other, friends, very few real ones though, fill the moments. Moments become memories the next moment. Memories live long.

Though we know one day we need to say the goodbye word, we spend days together enjoying the colors unconscious about the upcoming departing time.

We share, we live, we laugh, we play, we gossip, we fight, we patch-up, we enjoy, with friends.

As the outcome of all the above we get closer to some. Close friends we become.

The day finally we know we need to depart for now is the day we start facing and living the fact of departing someone, close one. Its not easy to cope up. Nor it’s the fun game.

Memories of the best past keep lingering no mater where you are. Feeling of missing doing the otherwise all crazy things pop up and don’t let us take control back. Facing the fact makes us realize many facts deep from within.

Life gets along

With the odor

Of fresh people

Walk into it

At every stage.

Some leave the

Foot prints

Themselves,

Where as some

Need to be made.

After the departure

Of the heartfelt

Life still gets along

For the job we are left

Still with on the earth.

Often, it feels,

Right people walk in

At right times,

Right people walk out

At right times too.

All in all, its important

At the end of the day

To get realized of the fact,

Life gets along, still.

No matter what!

Few moments are naturally associated with every phase of our lives. Our job is to discover them with right companion. Even someone leaves you or you are leaving that’s not the end; at least not the end to the process of discovering the moments in store for you. Meetings and separations naturally happen. Natural things shall not make you see the end; rather they shall be used to fresh start the further proceedings.

Well, pain is pain while giving the farewell. It pinches every time. Every time we recollect the best part, every time we imagine the unseen future, it pinches more. By the way, pain is a natural phenomenon too. Taking it easy makes us go easily. Taking it positively makes us go for the brand new hopes.

You turned highly philosophical in this post and it is a fact of life. All separation is painful that gets blunted over a period of time with new circumstances emerging.
A very well written post.I liked it very much.

It's like what I read recently. We can choose to react positively or negatively but that choice makes all the difference to every experience we have in our life. Liked your post as always, Pramoda.

We can make our choices and that is the lesson to be learned.

Pramoda,

Very well said. The poem is well composed. Some time ago I too wrote a post We Meet To Part. You have summed up nicely.

Take care

well said. i struggle with goodbyes, and i remind myself to trust that all is as it ought to be. as you say, they come in and out of our lives. connection is a blessing, especially when they return. i especially like close friends we become.
