What matters the most for any organization?

For any organization, what matters the least is what you are and what matters the most is what your team is. Building a team of spirit is not an easy job, and that’s why the person who works is paid less and the one who make people work is always paid more.

hey Prams, nice thinking.. but isn't who u are a big part of how u can contribute to your team? :) making a team work is not easy, i know.. and the one who makes the team work certainly deserves a good pay, but the person behind the work shd be seen too i think. who u r indirectly does affect where u take the organization u work for! :)

That's a very good assumption Pramoda, that's why there are many people who are rich doing hardly anything at all.

Leo is right in that what ultimately determines the reward is what one contributes to the success and the profit of the organisation.Workers are needed but people who manage them to get the optimum results are the key drivers in the set up

Sigh...its true! Even if ur individuality matters...its the work a team contributes matters most in team work even if not all may contribute equally...Alas!

Dear Prams,
Good Evening!
Self satisfaction is such a reward that make one so happy. My colleagues often get annoyed that I overdo things.:)
If not more payment, good words and recognition can compensate!
A leader is always a leader and the result matters!
Wishing you a lovely evening,
Sasneham,
Anu

A team player is valued more by an organization over a solitary independent performer no matter how good the latter may be. The idea is that no one can do all the nitty-gritty stuff of a huge project by his lonesome self. And he does not or may not have the other talents or skills that could be required for a particular job. We know that everybody has his own individual talent, inclination, skill, and expertise. So then pooling these all together for a project and ably orchestrated by a good leader would certainly assure an almost perfect success. That's the idea behind teamwork.

Blessings to you, Pram. :-)

Its easy to work as an individual but keeping the team together and leading them is tough.

Also the person managing the team has higher risks involved i mean they have much more at stake in case of failures...

This is quite insightful and certainly one way to think of an organization. I agree with Leo that the worker should be recognized more for team morale but your point is certainly well written. Thanks for your visit as well :)

HI VInay, i agree, completely.. a person's own capability is important in building teams..

what i referred here was the person who is nothing if he is not a team worker, whatever he may be individually..

u normally meet some people in many organizations, who r perfect idividually, but when it comes to a team, they fail to maintain..

Thanks so much fr being here after a long gap..:) any ways.. i know you read all of my posts..:)Thanks fr being so faithful always..:)
