Respecting a person...

Respecting a person doesn’t seem complete when you accept everything he says, or when you do everything he asks you to do, though you are not inline with him all the time.

Respecting a person rather accounts to the best when you express your sincere opinion to him all the time, even if it is in conflict with his, and still be ready to accept or to do what he says.

  1. hmm.. yes, i accept that.. but of course, if that other person accepts your opinion, respecting him should be something like thanking him for considering your opinion :) rather than still accepting his old opinion..!

    interesting take Prams! :)

  4. True but as you age, you expect unconditional respect and then trouble brews when someone conflicts- at home, at work.

  7. Pramoda,

The best idea strikes when you least expect it. I agree that one should voice own opinion too but accept what is to be done after due discussions even if it is contrary to own thoughts. Of course, it does not mean that we accept something illegal or harmful to the society.

    Take care

  8. Dear Prams,
    Good Evening!
We must have guts to voice our opinion and that must be done by respecting the feelings of your friend.
